Our Story
Ridgeline was founded in 1987 by two Denton-area freight veterans who believed a regional distributor could out-service the national players on relationships, reliability, and local knowledge.
We built slowly — one anchor customer, one route, one driver at a time. The 2008 financial crisis tested us. COVID-era supply chain disruptions tested us again. Both times, we emerged with tighter operations and stronger customer relationships than when we went in.
Today we serve retail, manufacturing, and institutional accounts across four states, with the same operating discipline that kept us standing when larger regional competitors did not.
Our on-time rate is third-party verified. We publish it internally every Monday and hold every driver, dispatcher, and account manager accountable to it.
Every account has a named contact at Ridgeline — not a call center. Issues get escalated to a human decision-maker, not a ticket queue.
We expand routes and take on new accounts only when we have the warehouse capacity and driver capacity to service them at standard. We don't grow past our ability to deliver.
